Nestled at the northern end of the Peninsula, 11 miles south of San Francisco, is the small community of Colma (pop 1,700). Covering 2.2 square miles, Colma is the smallest Town in San Mateo County and boasts a strong tax base, featuring two shopping centers and a vast collection of car dealerships. The Administrative Services Director position offers an opportunity to lead a talented team of 7 FTEs’ providing high-quality support services to all Town departments.
 
The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a strong background in local government administration and a deep understanding of municipal financial management. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with a flexible approach, will be critical in this role. A minimum of five (5) years of increasingly responsible administrative experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration or a related field, is required.
 
The salary range goes up to $229,528 + attractive benefits. Closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, June 29, 2025
